Dec. 26th, 2013 10:33 pm[Obito is gone, the network knows this, and somehow the fool boy managed to leave letters of goodbye, as if he had advanced warning. It would be wise to see if all of his pokemon were assigned by him, or if they were randomized the way most seem to be...but he doesn't feel motivated to ask that.
He often appears irritable or peevish on the 'gear, but today there's an aggression to his anger.]
Should you feel compelled to dump your excess creatures off on me before you leave in the future, sending me spoiled brats is only a further insult. Pokemon who refuse to listen will be ignored, not well taken care of.
If you wish to leave something of worth, instead remain where you are. A human who can be trained is more useful than a pokemon who can't.

Dec. 8th, 2013 02:54 am[The boost he'd felt after returning his chakra for that short time was mostly destroyed by the ensuing disappearance of Sasuke. While he had no love for the sour boy, he was not without sympathy for Tenten's suffering. Both the one she struggled through now and the one that the Tenten he had known before, on the battlefield must now face. It was...a sobering reminder.
Thus, while he'd initially been somewhat more animated and enthusiastic after the strange event passed, he'd returned to something similar to his usual attitude, with a colder, harsher edge buried not far underneath.

While chakra also meant the ability to travel routes easily and dispatch of pokemon he encountered efficiently, the primary priority he had at the moment was scouting. He might find clues or even answers to where they were and both how and why.
...And perhaps he also simply wanted to use it.
Eventually, though, he did stop at one of the higher branches, opening the pokegear. After all, other Konoha nin might be able to investigate in ways the Byakugan alone might not...or far more likely, they would know where he should look to be most effective for however long this would last.]

Nov. 16th, 2013 03:23 am[So guess who looks--yeah, it's the person who always looks displeased. Neji. Back again on the 'gear network. He's been a little busy with pokemon and things, so he hasn't actually...bothered...to make many comments this month.
Today, however, his final pokemon evolved. And it, like some of the others now, is apparently a telepath.
It's as if someone out there thinks that traveling with Obito is some sort of challenge to the heavens that he can handle any annoyance it can come up with. He's not pleased with this concept.]
...Without chakra I presume there is some way to keep them from chattering away all day once they've figured out how? [Other than putting them in the pokeball. Even if that worked with telepathy he refused. See how well the pokeballs worked them in that...whatever it was? He'd nearly lost pokemon to some dark creature because they were trapped inside those.]
Perhaps a psychic gag that can be found at a rare pokemart would do...?

Those who are expert readers of the apathetic, however, should recognize the pensiveness and vaguely ill-at-ease tenseness in the corners of his eyes and expression, the last remnants of the strange and disturbing nightmare he experienced a few days ago.
Behind where he sits a Medicham stands, watching the feed with a similar--perhaps put on--vague sense of curiosity. Those familiar with Neji's pokemon roster can probably guess that this is Meditite, now evolved and doubled in her previous height.]
Should I anticipate all of the pokemon to do this sooner or later? [Evolve, that is. This makes half of his pre-Shino roster, after all. The other half seems inevitable at this point.] For a long lived species, it seems a bit abrupt to be a sign of adulthood, so I presume there's a better explanation for this?

Route, today you get an up-angle view of a shirtless Neji silently going through Gentle Fist forms. Although...to those not well versed in the Route's very own group of ninja, it will probably just look suspiciously like Baguazhang. Still, he's rather focused at this, and as such doesn't notice whoever is holding the camera for a little bit.

The point seems moot, given it's so far in the future that his age is far beyond eighteen anyway, but still...to see that date again so suddenly and so soon after death.
He isn't dead, of course, but it serves as a reminder of the life he's lost all the same. If the jutsu were reversed and people returned to their times, whatever animates or restored him might also undo itself. It's a possibility he must at least privately face.
He holds the pokedex today because Meditite handed it to him, but his expression is distant and deeply thoughtful. The look of a man wondering whether or not birthdays are to be observed here or only reminders of a life lost.]

Those familiar with the starting BGMS should recognize the music of Cherrygrove. If, indeed, the music translates through the display. Neji wouldn't know, as his past five days have been spent on the road.

Neither of those particularly concern him, however. He's actually turned on the device to inquire toward healing facilities for humans rather than pokemon (the pokemon of the duo can be seen to be quite healthy, although mildly concerned for those capable of reading the pokemon's expression).
This request, however, is sidetracked when he recognizes the song has changed. After five days of the same one, he'd gotten rather good at ignoring it--even used to it--this one, however...is more annoying.
