Naruto Uzumaki | Once the village outcast, and although Neji never cared enough to actively hate or ostracize him he did disdain Naruto for acting out and refusing to accept destiny.
During the Chuunin exams, Naruto showed Neji the truth, and since then Neji has come to respect and admire Naruto for the very qualities he disdained before. They aren't particularly close, but Neji is in fact quite loyal to Naruto, and does believe that Naruto will find a way to realize his dream of becoming Hokage. He also believes it's possible that Naruto may one day sway Sasuke as he swayed Neji (he does not always believe that possibility outweighs the harm Sasuke may cause in the meantime, however.)

Tenten Nosurname | Without doubt, the most important person to him currently present. She is his teammate, and therefore has his loyalty by default. The version of her he is familiar with is also his friend, though this one he has come to realize lacks that bond with him due to her age. Still, he honors the bond he holds with her future self as much as is possible.
Her age discrepancy lends itself toward protective feelings on his part, and thus he tends to take it upon himself to keep an eye out for her and protect her from what he can. While she may be capable with her pokemon, that don't impress him much. She has a long way to go yet to catch up to her future skill, and he often spars with her when he can to try to encourage that growth. As a result, he's almost always in her company (or nearby). Sakura Haruno | Due the large number of times he’s teamed up with Team Seven, he’s quite familiar with Sakura…but he doesn’t really have a personal relationship with her. However, he respects her determination and her skill as a medic ninja, as well as her position as Lady Tsunade’s apprentice. He considers her a very practical candidate for future hokage.
She's one of the only shinobi who know of his ultimate fate. While he has attempted once or twice to appease her apparent guilt, he often simply avoids her due to the awkwardness involved in speaking with her. He's promised to allow her to be the one to inform Naruto about the matter should it come up.

Shino Aburame | A member of Team 8. Somewhat odd, but his bugs are a great strategic advantage, and Neji does appreciate his quiet nature.
He hasn't really spoken with Shino since arriving, but he may soon change that with the number of bug pokemon he's caught.

Sasuke Uchiha | The little shit.
He does not like Sasuke Uchiha. He likes even less how much Tenten has taken a shining to him. He does not remotely approve of the insistence Sasuke and Tenten have that Sasuke will simply change the past when he returns to his own time, because that is obviously both absurd and impossible. Despite their animosity, Sasuke gave a sudden and surprisingly formal apology for his future actions, and acknowledged that he might not be able to prevent his future actions.
It's yet to be determined how much that will sway their interactions, but it has at least cooled the approaching boiling point between them. For now.

Trance Gemini | A strange young woman that Neji believes to be from the dark ages before the Sage of Six Paths, considering she lacked the basic knowledge of what the word 'shinobi' meant, instead thinking it was a country of some sort. She's a little too chipper about war, but then war is probably normal in her time.

Imogen Moreno | Something about her reminds him of Naruto, and not in a good way. She takes things too lightly. She is far, far too upbeat and cheerful for his tastes much of the time.

Rin Nohara | A young shinobi from the Third Shinobi War. Although she hasn't confirmed it, he suspects she may have been killed before arriving here. (Furthermore, her unknown name makes him believe her entire family may have been wiped out in the war, as many were). However, he is willing to accept this suspicion may well be due to his own situation. She is too young to fight in a war by his reckoning, but not an unpleasant person. As a Konoha ninja, she is automatically an ally.

Minato Namikaze | The Fourth Hokage. The dead Fourth Hokage. Not the man to introduce the subject that this world might not be the afterlife. Even so, Neji holds the appropriate respect for a man of his station and reputation. He appreciates the potential chance to work alongside the Hokage, regardless of anything else.
He's a little incredulous over the man's personality now that he's been exposed to it further.

Cheria Barnes | A friendly woman, but she seems to worry a bit more than necessary. She seems pleasant enough and not disagreeable, but she insisted on sending him a pokemon egg for his birthday. Said pokemon has been something of a troublemaker since. He can't quite hold this against her, however, as it has all been done with good intentions so far.

Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald | Kayneth is among those misguided enough to believe this place is a separate world where people come from other 'worlds'. Still, he provided new and interesting information, which built a theory that the world might be at least partially genjutsu. Given his differing terms and unfamiliarity with the word 'genjutsu', Neji presumes he's from a future. While probably not a 'shinobi' in the same sense of the word Neji would use, he holds himself with a certain air and knowledge that make Neji believe he is some sort of equivalent in his time...although whether his time has diminished skill or not is yet to be seen.

Tsukiyomi Ikuto | A practical person, one of the few practical enough to be aware of the futility and absurdity of attempting to celebrate the birthdays of so many Pokemon. Provided advice about avoiding egg surprises, although he was among those of little use in determining Pokemon life expectancies. Still something of a breath of fresh air in comparison to the majority of those he's seen around Johto and Kanto so far.

Lancer | A man of considerable intelligence, if Neji's observation prove correct. He also hails from a 'world' similar enough to the shinobi world to be familiar with mistrust and--again, should Neji be correct--warfare. Unfortunately, of little help in answering Neji's questions about Johto, Kanto, or Pokemon.

Obito Uchiha | It took Neji about a month, month and a half to actually learn his name due to forgetting to ask in their initial conversation. Despite Obito being occasionally too cheery, he shares a surprisingly similar sense of humor to Neji. For different reasons, both of them have a similar approach to raising and catching Pokemon, and therefore tend to gravitate toward one another when dealing with such matters. Obito, it seems, kept an eye on Tenten before Neji arrived, and Neji is grateful to him for that.
They also have a strange bond of both of them having died just before arrival...or they did, until Neji learned his name. Discovering Obito's identity--and thus his future crimes--nearly destroyed the odd friendship they built (and potentially damaged Obito's life among the ninja when Neji would announce them...) but it seems for now that their friendship, and Obito's intense hatred and rejection of the concept of his future self has mended the brief rift the news caused.

Kushina Uzumaki | The fiery wife of the Fourth Hokage. Before her arrival, much of what Neji knew of her consisted of the fact that she was killed alongside the Fourth Hokage in the Nine-tails attack on the village. He has had little interaction with her since, but he empathizes with her reluctance to keep and raise any Pokemon. It seems she has a quick temper, and he has no interest in spending enough time around her to allow for it to be roused in his direction.

Tsunade Senju | The ruling Hokage in his time. For as much as he respects and admires the Fourth, his loyalty and sense of responsibility is directed toward Tsunade. Without chakra, it seems even her henge is unable to be maintained. He is admittedly somewhat surprised to see just how extensively her medical ninjutsu techniques have ravaged her body. Still, he has no doubt of her continued skill and threat with Taijutsu.
