[The music playing is one he's gotten a bit sick of, considering the other recent cities he's been to with the exact same track...but on the bright side, with such extended time listening to it, it's easier to simply tune it out.
Which is good for what the video displays him doing today.
Route, today you get an up-angle view of a shirtless Neji silently going through Gentle Fist forms. Although...to those not well versed in the Route's very own group of ninja, it will probably just look suspiciously like Baguazhang. Still, he's rather focused at this, and as such doesn't notice whoever is holding the camera for a little bit.
In a pause, while facing the pokegear...he frowns and settles back to a normal stance.]
Meditite... [He signed and gave a disapproving frown, before gesturing for the camera--rather, far more likely for Meditite--to approach.] You must stop filming me
[There's a less than cheerful 'Dite...' as the 'Gear changes hands from the pokemon to Neji, and he sighs, before switching the feed off.
Should he say he's 'training'...this is far more likely to be what he means than pokebattling.]
[OOC: That dude totally has a robe on but Neji is just too hardcore for robes you see...]

ACTION as if anyone is surprised
I dunno, Neji, at this rate, Meditite might make you a celebrity.
[Her Mienshao is the one who moves forward though, trying to catch Neji's attention. She doesn't stop the Pokémon, her attention shifting from Neji-the-ninja to Neji-the-Mienshao as he tries to go through the best approximation he can muster of the other's form. And he's surprisingly... not terrible at it. Still figuring out how to distribute his weight like the ninja does, and his form was nowhere near as crisp and precise as Neji's own, but it was a definite start.]
video;
You'll want to use it to cover the lens of the PokeGear and the microphone. That way they will be unable to record you without your permission.
video;
...Electrical tape?
video;
Yeah, you cover the lens and then nothing can be seen. You cover the microphone and nothing can be heard.
You'll gain your privacy.
video;
I'm shhockked. So shocked I thought I tagged this 8|
I have no idea what you're talking about. [Scoff. Please no, Tenten, one lifetime as a genius was enough. He's fine being unnoticed this time.] Don't encourage her, you'll teach her bad manners.
[However, he does fall silent and observe with some curiosity when the Mienshao...why she named it after him he really didn't understand...began to mimic his forms. They were...not...terrible, but really, to his critical eye, only just. Still, for a nonhuman and presumably a first attempt, it is rather talented.
He crosses his arms, observing the Mienshao for a few long moments, before finally speaking to it.] Begin walking in a circle, keeping your face toward the center and attempt those two forms you just used. [Strange as it might sound, it was for balance, and should he master the technique, he'd be much smoother on his feet and able to distribute his weight better.]

You'd be a good trainer in spite of yourself, Neji, [she teased with a smile.] If only you'd actually catch Pokemon.
video;
At least that has been my experience.
[ After the incident with the bath, she's never ever allowing accidental video footage again. ]

Speaking of those who never learn...he frowned over at Tenten.]
I have no need of collecting pokemon, they're enough trouble at the number they are now. [He's said that every time, of course, and yet still ended up with more pokemon. Perhaps he should stay quiet on the matter...]
video;
[He nods slowly.] And where did you say I could find this black tape?
no subject
[She flicks a hand -- unimportant! It's not like it's going to run out of space or anything any time soon. Definitely not.]
video;
I'd offer to send you some, but I think my Pokemon might accidentally lose it on the way just because they're tired of seeing it.
[ What does she do to her Pokemon to make them react that way towards tape? ]
no subject
I have no interest in storing creatures in a box and only calling on them when I have need of them.
video;
[Presumably keep her pokemon away from the gear? Of course if he retrieves the tape, he's probably going to have to have Obito or Tenten buy it, considering he...doesn't...work.]
Although it does seem like it might get in the way in emergencies.

They're weapons. When you're not using a weapon, you store it. You maintain it, you clean it -- since these guys are summons, you talk to them and take care of them and train them and give them treats and reward them when they do well -- but they're still weapons.

Summoning creatures are not weapons, Tenten. They, and pokemon like them, may be used in battle to increase one's strength much like one would jutsu, but they are living creatures, not tools.
no subject
And I take care of them like living creatures, you know. I take them out and train with every one at least every couple days. There's just no way to keep them all out, though, so it's like when I'd store weapons in my scrolls. They don't mind the box -- at least, that's what my Psychics have told me.
video;
[ Sure it requires a few extra seconds, but once you're familiar with it-!! ]
Be less embarrassing at any rate.

Yet you regard them as weapons. There's no purpose in spending time around them or giving them treats if you regard them as tools or weapons, rather than creatures who are compelled to aid you in battle. Regardless of how they feel about the 'box', if you fail to respect them properly you'll eventually find yourself without their help.
[...This is just...a Thing for him.]

[Considering that she tends to treat her weapons better than she treats most people...]
