[Weren't the ninja ever the odd ones out? Shinobi led a distinctly different, almost unrecognizable life to the civilians. Why it should be any different here Neji isn't really sure, other than that their chakra was stolen and summoning animals were given to everyone. Even with a leveled playing field, the two schools of thought wouldn't mesh so easily. Case in point: shinobi couldn't so easily accept a life like this without question or suspicion.

Well, Neji couldn't, at least. Such a carefree and easy path had to lead to destruction of some sort, he just wasn't certain what it was yet.]


Is that so? [Because so far it seemed more like he'd found only people uninterested in investigating, questioning, or returning home. Perhaps his perception is biased by the difficult introduction he had to this world, however.] Should I assume someone has gathered together all of the information discovered on this land into one place by now?
